On November 13th one of my closet friends Misty Stevenson has decided to embark on the Adventure once again and participate in the Breast Cancer 3-Day. I wish I could take this Adventure with her, but my knees and ankle wouldn't be able to handle it.
The Breast Cancer 3-Day benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Without a cure, one in eight women in the U.S. will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Misty plans on raising $2300 to help bring us one step closer to finding a cure.
There is a lot of training involved to prepare for the 3-Day and I would hate to see all her hard work go to waste by her not achieving her goal.
