Cards For Heroes and a Birthday Wish!

With all that is going on in the world it is sometimes easy to forget that we still have many Soldiers over there fighting for Freedom. Many of you know that my brother served two tours in Iraq of 18 months each and is home safely now, but one of the things that he enjoyed was getting mail. He could get email, but there was nothing better he said that having your name called out cause you got some physical mail. I think we need to do better at thanking our Heroes cause with everything else going on in the media it is easy to forget we still have a war that we are fighting.

I found this awesome organization called Cards For Heroes that sends not only blank cards to our Heroes to send back to their loved ones, but also sends cards to those Heroes that may not be getting any mail from home. If you want to get involved and up for a challenge you can get involved with the 25 + 2 challenge.

This weekend CFH is doing a Memorial Day Bloghop so be sure to check it out. There are a lot of people involved with prizes to be given away and a lot of inspiration that will help you on the 25 +2 challenge.

Just remember your loved ones might be home safely but others loved ones are over there fighting for Freedom, let's do what we can and remember them.
