I'm like the worst blogger and have been neglecting my page. I have good intentions but I'm on the get fit & fine program aka Chambo Wellness Program and it seems to be consuming most of my extra time. I started almost 2 months ago and have lost 6 inches on my waist, 7 inches off my thighs and a total of 23 lbs. Food has never been that easy for me till now. I love it.. I can live like this for the rest of my life. The best thing is that my insurance pays for it. Its a 3 month program (unless you need more time) and you get a nutrionist, personal trainer and access to a gym. Im hoping to post some before and after shots soon. I need to have Jed take one at my current weight and get my before one from Chambo so you can see the difference in such a short timeframe. Finally I am on my way to a healthier life style and love it.
On a different note, today work announced they are laying off 500 people. Am I at risk? I could be but we won't find out till mid May. I finally realize I can't stress over the things I can't change. I have seen so many of my friends and loved ones loose their jobs and working for a Credit Card company knew that it was only a matter of time before I would be impacted. All I know is that I am blessed for the experience my job has given me over the last 13 years. If it is my time to go so be it. After all, God already wrote the script Im just simply acting it out. Eventually it has to get better and people hopefully will stop living beyond their means and pay their bills.
I am blessed to have you all in my life and I wish nothing but happiness to all of you through these tough times. Remember you are in control of your happiness ♥

Awesome 'bout the weightloss, yikes 'bout the layoffs, and holy cow, get my insurance on board!!
Girl... What an inspirational post! Living in So Cal where we are being hit so bad it is really nice to here your positive words. I was laid off last march and I am just getting back to work, unfortunately in a completely unrelated field.
Good Luck with the lay offs and GREAT JOB with the healthier lifestyle! We will have to share stories... I have been trying a healthier lifestyle for the last 3 years... It's coming off very slowly... But not lb has come back!!!
That's awesome about your new healthy routine. You sound very happy and excited! Yes lay offs.. no good. We went through a 9 month lay off 3 years ago, I pray that was our time and not again. Although it was one of the hardest things I have had to go through, I learned a lot and I grew in my relationships. God does always has a purpose, but it is hard to see that when it's you who are in the midst of pain. I'm glad you are finding a way to deal with the stress. I think it's on everyone's mind, when is it me? when is it my husband? Microsoft will do another round of lay offs soon... I pray Ed makes it through. It's easy to stress over it though. hang in there!
