Our Adventurous Road Trip

So Tayla has gone to Boston for Spring Break to visit her Grandparents and Aunt. While she is away, Jed and I have embraced this opportunity to go on another Road Trip. Destination is Tahoe and then Vegas to meet up with some friends.

March 14th

We got Tayla to the Airport bright and early on the Saturday morning. She had to be to the airport by 4:30am. Jed stayed up all night and being that I didn't get home from scrapbooking till 1am I only got an hour or so of sleep. Once Tayla took off, Jed and I went home for some sleep.

We eventually got up and all our gear together and left Phoenix about 7pm. Our goal was to make it non-stop to Tahoe so that didn't happen. We stopped for some rest in Adelanto, California around 1am at the local Days Inn. This is a little town a little ways past Los Angeles.

Jed and I got up about 9:30 am and headed out. The nice thing is we have access to the internet while driving ( I love the features of the blackberry and blue tooth) so it makes it easier to blog our trip.

Here is a couple of pics of us along the way...

Here is a pic of Jed by a creek. I can't remember the name of the National Park, but it was beautiful. We just stopped for a second.

Here is a picture while driving outside the window. There is snow all around on the Mountains but it isn't too cold. Im sure it will be colder the closer we get to Lake Tahoe.
