My photo
I am married to the most wonderful man. We have been married for almost four years and have been together for 9 years. I have a beautiful 17 year old Daughter. I started this blog so I can post my Scrapbooking pages, but recently decided it is time for me to get healthy so I am going to use my blog to motivate myself through sharing my success with others. I will still share other updates and Scrapbooking, so please come back and visit.

I'm Back ♥

It seems like it has been forever since I have blogged. So much has been happening and I have tons to catch up on. First of all Tayla left for England on May 23 and comes back in a couple of days. Jed and I have sure missed her, but both know she is having a blast. Can you believe I have a High Schooler.... That is right. Tayla graduated from 8th Grade. Hard to believe in four years she will be off to college and living her dreams. Here is her 8th Grade graduation picture. I can't believe how grown up she looks.

Before Tayla's trip I took her to get her nails done and also her eyebrows waxed. She has been asking to get her eyebrows waxed forever so I finally broke down and made it happen. I couldn't let the kodak moment pass me by so I got some good photos for the Scrapbook page opportunity. It did bring tears to her eyes but her brows looked AWESOME.. The things we woman do to look beautiful.

Tayla and I spent a day with Jed's parents making stepping stones. They are going to have their friends and family members make them when they come and visit and hopefully eventually have an area that they can put some chairs around and have a sitting area. It was real fun to make them. We made the concrete ourselves and then decorated them with various stones etc...

Being that Jed works in Tempe there are tons of unusual places to eat that you normally would not find on the West side. This particular place he took me was a Ethiopian restaurant called the Blue Nile. We got to sit in this area with little wooden chairs and basket table. They served the meal on sponge like bread and you ate it with your hands. It was really cool. Here are some photos we took to capture the moment. I am so in love with this man ♥ I had a fantastic time.

A friend of mine Jodi was in town visiting so we made it a girls night out. It started with us hanging out at AHSO's and then we ended up at Westgate to hangout at the Shout Bar. I had one too many Saki bombers and got pretty intoxicated, but it was a great night overall. Jed ended up having to come and get us. So needless to say it was a fun filled evening.

lastly Jed bought a bike and I have always been hot on bikes and seeing him riding and Tayla going with him has got me wanting one really bad. Here is a picture of Tayla and Jed about to go for a ride. Jed even bought Tayla her own little helmet.

Needless to say I couldn't stand by and watch those two have all the fun so I have decided I too am going to have some fun. I am taking a safe riders motorcycle class and buying me a Suzuki SV650. That is right. Heidi is going to buy a crotch rocket. I can't wait. Here is a picture of the bike that I plan on buying. I will post a picture of me with the bike once I make the big purchase. I am so excited.

That is all that has been going on with me. Hopefully I won't let so much time pass by before my next post. I have also been working on some Scrapbook pages so I will be sure to post pictures of those soon. I got 12 done in one day. That is totally a world record for me.
